When a quote is sent to a customer and the customer click on the link (quote ) then it will be registerd in ”notes” with date and time when the quote has been read.
I’d also like to see the IP address and/or user (if logged in). Sprout Invoices has a really nice method for this that lets you know who viewed the quote/invoice, whether it was the first time they viewed it, etc.
This feature has been added in Sliced Invoices version 3.5.0. 🙂
I’m working on a little documentation now and will post more info soon.
Ive noticed that when i started to use Sliced Invoices this feature would display on my Dash Board. Now this has stopped maybe i have done something that has caused it to stop displaying on my Dash Board. I have regular clients which I’m using the same invoice for each client each month ie I’m not creating a new invoice. Maybe this could cause this to stop the display on my Dash Board.
Hi John, this one is my fault. In the last Sliced Invoices update I made a change to accommodate another need, but inadvertently it stopped the “invoice viewed” notices from displaying. This will be fixed in the next update (3.6.6) which should be coming out tomorrow sometime. Sorry for any inconvenience. Once you get the 3.6.6 update it will start working again automatically.

…I should add, even though the notice isn’t displaying at the top, you can still find out if the invoice was viewed or not by checking the “Invoice Notes” section at the bottom.
